Before founding investOrbit / WGC, Andrew worked in the Investment Office at Choate Rosemary Hall's endowment in Wallingford, CT. Prior to that, he was the Product Specialist for institutional funds totaling more than $20 billion in the New York and London offices of Renaissance Technologies LLC, the global fund manager founded by mathematician James Simons in 1982. He also managed all of Renaissance's capital introduction relationships with prime brokers for Europe and Asia. Previously, he was an investment banker at FB Gemini Capital in Hong Kong. Andrew has held the Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.
Andrew is a member of AIMA's working group creating the next global standard Due Diligence Questionnaire, and has spoken at industry conferences in the US and Asia on such topics as emerging hedge funds, RFPs, due-diligence, family office investing, and entrepreneurship.
Andrew is President of the Lower East Side Printshop, the largest nonprofit artists’ printmaking workspace in the US, founded in 1968 in New York City. He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and an AB degree, magna cum laude, in Classics, and a Certificate in European Cultural Studies, from Princeton University.
Alex brings over 15 years of finance industry experience obtained in the London and Hong Kong offices of major financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and Barclays.
During this time Alex covered multiple roles within Prime Services in the areas of Operations, Project Management, Business Development, Onboarding/Consulting and Relationship Management for global hedge fund clients.
Rhonda has over 20 years' experience in the alternative investment industry, working in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean in senior asset management, operations and client-facing roles.
She was Managing Director, Sales and Client Relationship Management, at ABN Amro Prime Fund Solutions (Americas) and Head of Business Development, Fund Services, at UBS Global Asset Management (Americas). She has been a member of numerous global and regional committees in her respective roles in fund administration, banking, fund custody and fund credit.
Rhonda has remained involved in various industry and philanthropic organizations such as Help for Children (HFC), and was a member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) for over 9 years. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Queen's University, Canada and is a Qualified Chartered Accountant.
Matthew is a Director in Sales and Relationship Management at Saxo Markets in Singapore. Prior to that, Matthew was Co-CEO of investOrbit's Hong Kong office and Head of Risk Management and Chairman of the Transparency Committee of ADM Capital, a large Hong Kong-based investment adviser specializing in credit, special situations, and private equity. Matthew is the Co-Chair of the AIMA Cybersecurity Working Group and is an active member of AIMA. He has been involved in the hedge fund industry since 2003, during which time he has gained deep experience and insight in risk management, due diligence, and investor relations.
He has spoken on these and related topics at several global conferences and has provided interviews and articles to a number of industry publications, including the AIMA Journal and AsiaRisk Magazine. Matthew was featured on the HFM Hong Kong Report in 2014, and has lived in Asia for over twelve years. Matthew is a graduate of Oxford University in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
